The SRA have recently released a consultation paper on their 21/22 business plan. Key areas of work include, among other things, evaluating ongoing reform programmes, including Transparency Rules.
Following a temporary pause during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, the SRA announced earlier this year that they were re-commencing work to assess levels of compliance with the rules on price and service transparency. In January of this year, they began clamping down with a number of firms being fined or rebuked.
As such, you may find this article useful – it discusses what law firms needed to do to ensure compliance with rules proposed by the SRA requiring them to publish price and service information on their websites.
If you need help aligning your law firm’s site with the SRA’s transparency standards & pricing guidelines, we can help.
